Our company was formed as a result of the owner looking to purchase northern UK investment properties at the beginning of the buy to let era, but lived in the south of England. It soon became apparent that as a small, amateur, part time investor, organising, purchasing and managing the portfolio became increasingly difficult whilst maintaining full time employment.
The project was soon considered as a business and the market potential assessed, thus establishing CU Residential purposely to provide small, individual investors with a dependable dedicated buy to let investment service.

Before buy to let existed personal investments relied upon the stock market, risk capital, pension and savings schemes etc. But then there was an alternative that had already been tried and tested and had proved successful in decades past.
